Roxanne

When you read that title you have to hear Sting singing Roxanne in the background. I'd like to say that when I drive Roxanne to work and back each day that I listen to her theme song on the radio...but the radio doesn't work...in fact, there aren't even speakers in the car. Roxanne is a 1995 Ford Escort 2 door hatchback 5-speed in prestine condition. Don't let the exterior fool you, she's a muscle machine. Okay, so really she's about 1.5 levels up from a piece of junk but what's really imortant is that Roxanne gets about 31 mpg! She may look like a nightmare, but she runs like a dream! You may be thinking to yourself, what would one pay for a beauty such as this...$700, $1000, maybe even $1001. But no, Roxanne cost a miraculous $300...yes, that's $100 off the sticker price, or at least the piece of cardboard that was in the front windows saying it was for sale! The guy I bought her from was asking $400 but using my cunning ability to sweet talk he came off the price $100. So this baby is a cheap Escort that doesn't have to turn on her red light anymore! I know what you're asking yourself now...and no I will not sell it to you!
So here's the deal. My truck gets about 14 mpg and it's paid for and I love it so I just won't sell it. So all summer I was looking for something very cheap to drive to work and back each day with gas prices the way they are. That was my motivation. So now I'm a member of http://www.junkycarclub.com/ and I'm proud of it! This is what I like to call, taking one for team Hartzog!

I could have gotten you at least a solid colored 95 Escort Man for the same price. The only problem is you don't know how fast you are actually going. It just had shag carpet put in by my dad. Anyways, hope things are going well.
