So we had loads of fun over Jeremy's spring break TWO weeks. He was out for two weeks because our county has an intersession week before spring break where kids that are doing bad can come in for extra help during that week. That gives the teachers not participating TWO FULL weeks off. We were so busy that I think Jeremy could have used a third week just to recover.
Although he was out of school, soccer was still going on. He either had practice or a game everyday of the break. His team is doing really good!! They are in the state playoffs and tonight they play to see who makes it in the final 8, so we're headed out for a late game to support daddy and his team. Ethan likes to yell "GO WHITE" at the games.
So what did we do over the break:
Bryan, Kelda and Kalleigh (Jeremy's brother and family) came for a weekend visit and we all went to Stone Mountain.

Ethan and Kalleigh enjoyed cruising aroud the park in the wagon. This was so nice!! I'm not sure that we'll take a stroller to Stone Mountain ever again. Ethan actually enjoyed this ride. He's at the age now were everytime he has to go in the stroller it's a battle.

Grammy went with us too. While we were there she renewed our yearly passes to the Mountain for our early birthday presents. Thanks Grammy!!

Back at home, Kalleigh and Ethan had a ball playing together. I love this picture of Kalleigh's little pigtail on top. She is cute as a button!!! (What does that really mean?? Any way cute button's out there??)

The next week Stone Mountain was doing all kinds of special events because it was spring break. We called up the Mattox's and they joined us for another fun day and night (we stayed for the lazer show again) at Stone Mountain. Here's Jeremy, Dustin, Ethan and Rylan checking out the monster trucks. Okay, so mostly Jeremy and Dustin.

Believe it or not, but the veggies tales were at Stone Mountain!! Ethan was very excited to see them...from a distance. Up close...not so much. When we got up there to them, he kept telling me "too big!" as he would lean in and hug my neck.

He preferred Bob and Larry to be this size.

Here we are playing in the Great Barn with all the balls. Ethan loves to fill a bag with balls and carry the bag around sticking balls in any of the tubes or holes that he sees. He's not quite old enough to understand the games that you can play there, but he loves playing with the balls.

Rylan also had a good time with the balls, but he took a break for a quick tummy slide. There he goes!!

After picknicking on the lawn we headed for a round of putt-putt golf. Ethan and Rylan's first experience...and an experience it was...FOR US!! Here's the golf lesson on the grass as we waited for those to finish in front of us.

I know I just threw my ball in this bush!!?? Hmmm....
There it is!!!

Ya know...really...what's the point in trying to keep score when you've got two little munchkins running around, standing in your path when you're trying to putt, picking up your ball, throwing balls and putters...I think we decided half way in that next time we would just ride the train instead :)

The train came by while we were playing and Ethan was very excited to see the train. He wanted to make sure the train and the people on the train saw him too.
Rylan just wanted to show them his ball.
After a fun but very tiring game of putt-putt, we relaxed on the lawn and waited for the lazer show.
Next event: The Farm
Did I mention that between us and my parents who live next to us we have 5 dogs (we have 3 they have 2), they have a cat, a horse, a cow that has no tail and a bum leg...so a 3 legged cow and two goats. Well now they have three goats. Yep!! Didn't even know that the goat was pregnant and when my dad went to feed them there was the little surprise. Look how cute!!! Ethan loves visit the baby goat.
The next weekend my sister-in-law Jenn and all the kids came to my parents. Jeff was bringing his college group up for the Passion conference in Atlanta and Jenn was going to join them with Jacie, the youngest. Mom and Dad were keeping Joshua, Jacob and Jeslyn for a few days so we got lots of hang out time. Here's Ethan with Jacie before she and Jenn left. Ethan loved being around Jacie and was always hugging and kissing and wanting to hold her. They were big buds.
We took turns taking the kids on four wheeler rides, but here's Nana for one special lap with all the kids...going 2 mph.
Here's Jacob with our dogs Fletcher and Walker. He loved playing with the dogs. Every time I turned around Jake was hugging on one of the dogs.

While they were here we celebrated Jeslyn's third birthday that was coming up real soon. Here's a few shots from the party.
Ethan crying because the cake and party were not for him. Yes we're at that age with him!!

A very busy but fun Spring Break spending time with family and friends!!
