How time flies

Where has the time gone? I bet you all thought we forgot how to update our blog. We had no intentions of letting this go a month without any updates. Needless to say, time is flying by and our little baby boy is growing up right before our eyes.

Ethan will be four months old Feb. 19. He is so much fun right now!! He's learning new stuff every day. It's amazing to watch him look at things and try to figure them out. The biggest thing that he's done this month is that he has found his hands. He's found out how to get them in his mouth and that' where they stay most of the time. We love to hear him talk (coo) and sing to us, occasionally we'll get a little laugh out of him. He's got quite a little personality!

Going on four months and Ethan is not quite sleeping through the night. I get up at least once during the night to feed him, but then there are still the nights that he cries out every 2-3 hours. Yeah, that sorta stinks because everyone loves a good nights sleep...but...I realize he's not going to cry out for me forever. I'm enjoying every bit of this time right now...sleepy mornings and all!!

I started back to work part time in January. It's nice because I'm only working on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and we've got a good friend of mine keeping him. I enjoy my job, but I must say, I love coming home Wednesday afternoon knowing that I've got five days in a row home with Ethan. Life is good and we really feel blessed that this works out for us.

I've attached some of Ethan's latest pictures. Hope to hear updates from you all soon!

Ya'll are too cute! You truly make having a baby sound like the blessing that I believe God intended it to be. I still don't want one anytime soon, but you guys make it look much more appealing :)

Ethan,

You're really going to have to beat those girls away, because you're pretty much the stuff. You look both like your mom and your dad, which makes for one cutie-pie! You've changed so much since we last saw each other at your house over Christmas break. Your Aunt Hollie misses you so much. I'll be back to visit you soon. You just need not forget me. Love you all!! :o) - Hollie
p.s. I'm LOVING the pics!

Ethan is so handsome. He definitely brings a smile to anyone's face that sees him. I can't wait to see him in person.

Thanks for comparing me to that ugly little thing in the Lord of the Rings. Just kidding. I can see how my post would remind you of him. At least I would share some, though :)
