Okay, so here's a few weeks of catch up from our family...
Something came over us and we decided to add 2 new puppies to our family. A stray dog found us and had NINE puppies on our land. Believe it or not, we found homes for all of them. We decided to keep two instead of just one because when we had Fletcher as a puppy, we said that we would never again get just one puppy. He whined and barked and wanted our attention ALL OF THE TIME. Babies...yes we'll give that kind of time and attention to...Puppies...NO! Fletcher was so much work we really said we wouldn't have another dog so we really surprised ourselves that we took on TWO more!! They really are better off to have a pal, they curl up at night and play together during the day so it's not been a huge demand from us. The puppies are really cute and we thought it would be fun for Ethan to interact with them...although at one time I looked up to see Ethan holding one puppy by his back leg and holding it up in the air. Here's Ethan playing with some of the group before we gave them away.

These are our new little buddies...Walker and Tex

Walker...

and Tex...

Fletcher warming up the Walker and Tex. They all do really good with each other. It took a little while for the puppies to learn that they could not nurse on Fletcher. He did not like those attempts at all!!

Ethan loves to put the pups in his pull along train. First Walker...

and then Tex gets his turn

More less exciting happenings from our family is that Jeremy came down with the flu!! This was one of his better moments but for about 4 straight days he felt horrible. Luckily it hit near the weekend so only missed a Friday and a Monday at work.

If that wasn't enough...he passed it on to Ethan by the next Tuesday. We tried really hard to not get it. Jeremy said I made him feel like a germ, lysoling everything right after he touched it. All that and Ethan still got the bug. He was sick until the next Monday. What was so bad for him is that he could'nt keep the tamiflu down (medicine given for the flu) so it just had to run it's course with him.

Ethan had the flu last year too and thankfully this year's case was not near as bad. Although he had a fever he still had some energy to...
