What have we been up to...

Well, this past month has been another busy one, but I've come to realize...they all are! Here's a few of the things that we've encountered this past month.

SNOWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!
Yep!! We finally got some snow in Georgia!! Two different snow days at that! Not too much either time, but enough to enjoy. I wanted it to snow so bad this year. As we were building our house, we would get so exciting just thinking about our first snow in our new house. Watching the snow fall in the woods was so beautiful. It didn't stay too long because the temp just wouldn't drop below 33 degrees. So...we didn't get to build a snowman this time but we sure did enjoy watching it fall as we sat by the fire. Here are a few pictures that we took.

And here's our poor Fletcher with snowflakes on his head. We brought him in the garage to warm up after I took this picture.
Our other big encounter a few weeks ago was a WRECK!! That's right, someone hit my mama mobile. We were so thankful that it was just a little crash and nothing else major. Everyone was okay and thankfully Ethan was not with us. Jeremy was driving, our friend Josh was in the front and I was behind Jeremy (the crash side) and our friend Kelly was beside me. We were stopped at a 4 way stop, waiting our turn and I just happened to look out my window to see a motorcycle headed straight for my door. The guy was coming from our left trying to turn right to go by us and instead, he lost control of his motorcycle and drove straight in the side of my van. He fell over under our van and his motorcycle fell on top of him. He was bruised up quite a bit but okay. Thankfully Jeremy put it in park and didn't move the car at all because the guy was partly under our car right by the tire. Long story short, we are so blessed that everyone was okay but my car did take a little beating. We're still in the process of getting that worked out. Needless to say, we really enjoyed the snow encounter much more than this one.

I can't post a blog without showing the sweet face of our little buddy. Here's Ethan in his playroom having all kinds of fun. This is a toy bin that Ethan's great Grandmama and Papa Don got him for Christmas. He enjoys emptying the toys out of it as soon and I can sort them and put them away.

do you have "somebody ran into my mama mobile with a motorcycle" insurance?

Thankfully the guy that hit us had good insurance so we were taken good care of. They've already sent us the payment for the estimated damage and when we can get it scheduled to be fixed, we are to call his insurance the day before and they'll arrance Enterprise to bring me a van. Very nice!! They said it's going to take at least 2 weeks to fix.

Wow! That is great service by an insurance company! I'm glad everybody's OK and that Ethan got to play in the snow. We didn't have a lot stick either, but we were glad to introduce Ella to it at a young age so that she wouldn't be scared of it later.

Ethan is SO CUTE! He looks like he has really "grown up" since his second birthday. He doesn't look like a toddler anymore . . . he looks like a big boy!

Oh man that stinks, at least everyone is OK that is so awesome (insurance) you can't beat that. Man was the snow fun or what I bet E-BO loved it. I guess we will see you guys in a week. Can you believe that little Kalleigh is going to be 1.
