Our house...

Yet another busy week, but a very successful one. We passed our framing inspection!!! Praise the Lord, we can continue with our house. While we were waiting for the last inspection, we (Jeremy, our friend Josh and I) wrapped our porch columns to make them look nicer. You can notice the difference in this first picture. The far right column is not wrapped. Our supervisor at work. There's nothing Ethan loves more than playing in the dirt. (Maybe Thomas the Train, but he LOVES getting into dirt and pine straw)This past week we also got insulated. For those of you who highly recommended us insulating our interior walls, we did!! Thanks for the advice! Here's a shot of the HUGE boom truck that stretches out this huge arm to put our dry wall in through the upstairs window. You can hardly see it above the porch. This was a cool process to watch. What was even better was watching this truck get in and out of our driveway and not hit a single tree. This truck was twice the size of a concrete truck. They started putting up our dry wall yesterday and they plan to have it up, taped and finished sometime next week. Then is when the painting fun begins. Anyone up for a paint party???Here's back at our house. This was a split second that I left the room while Ethan was nicely coloring in one of his coloring books. No lie, I was out of the room maybe 1 minute and he got down from his chair and proceeded with his coloring, on our kitchen floor!! Thank goodness for Mr. Clean erasers!!
After a very busy week of back and forth to the house, days at the park playing, and just other weekly duties we have...Ethan gave it up one day at lunch. He hasn't done this since he was like 6 months old. He totally fell asleep in his seat eating lunch. I had to check his mouth to make sure he chewed up his last cracker before I put him down. Here Ethan is showing his buddy Rylan (Dustin and Erin Mattox's little boy) all about his trains and how to properly put them back in their carrying case.Okay Rylan, this is where they go. (Notice Ethan about to close his hand in the train case)Ouch, my hand!!
I think Rylan totally understands playing trains now!!

Okay, so I was the anonymous one. I'm just figuring out how to do this stuff. Ethan is a cutie.

The house is looking great. I can't believe Ethan fell asleep eating! That picture is so cute. Miles did the same thing at dinner a couple of weeks ago.
