More to show

This past week we got the outside of our house and trim painted. It's hard to tell from the pictures but the color is a mix between a light olive green and a dark taupe. It's has tones from both of those colors.

The bead board on the ceiling is painted a few shades lighter than the siding. There's two holes cut on the on the walls, you can hardly see them on each side of the door way. This is where we'll have carriage lights. We also got our dry wall done this past week. They have a few more days of sanding to do, but we plan to be painting the inside by the weekend. We finished getting all of our interior paint today and we bought a sprayer yesterday so we're ready to go. Here's a look from the master bedroom hallway into the living room. The foyer is to the left and the breakfast nook is to the right.
Looking into the master bedroom.
Standing in the breakfast nook looking into the kitchen to the right and the living room to the left. The fireplace is in the middle so that wall will be rock on all sides.
This is upstairs in our bonus room. The big column in the corner is our chimney coming up. It makes for a cozy back corner. Hmmm, nice scrapbook table area :)
Standing at the back wall of the bonus looking out at the dormers. The wall to the left is the stairway going down.
Beyond the stairs is another side to the bonus which will be our office.
This last picture is looking through the french doors from the living room to the back porch and back yard. Just another random picture I took.
This part of the building phase is really starting to get exciting!! It's so fun seeing walls and I'm so pumped about getting some color up by the weekend. Stay tuned for more updates!!

The new house is beautiful . . . you haven't mentioned this yet, but have you thought about what you want to do for landscaping? We had fun with that when we bought our first house because there was none. It was a lot of work, but it was fun.

And Mason loves chocolate milk, too!
