Christmas Morning at the Hartzog's

Well...you guessed it!! Santa came to visit Ethan and if he didn't already have enough toys...he does now! We had such a great Christmas morning. This was mine and Jeremy's first Christmas ever to wake up in our own home Christmas morning. Ever since we've been married, we traveled for Christmas. Moving to Loganville allowed us to be in our home, so this was a special Christmas for us. We woke up Christmas morning to Ethan saying " Mama....Dada...." on the monitor. Before we went to get him, Jeremy built a quick fire in the fire place, I got all the Christmas lights on from the Christmas tree and our little Christmas village, we got some Christmas music playing and then it was time to get Ethan. Doing some of these fun things and remembering the reason of the Christmas season, we had fun esablishing our own Christmas traditions with Ethan this year. Ethan was still a little sleepy and he had some serious bed head going on, but he was excited to see his new toys. I think his favorite thing was the box of gold fish that was in his stocking. After we did our Christmas, we quickly got ready for Nana and Granddaddy (my parents) and Grammy (Jeremy's mom) to come over for a Christmas morning breakfast.

A couple of days after Christmas, my brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Jenn and their three kids came in from Pensacola, FL to have Christmas with us. Joshua is now 6, Jacob is 4 and Jeslyn is 19 months. We haven't seen them since last Christmas so it was great to see them, catch up and see how the kids have grown. We were due a big family portrait!!
