We experienced our first camping trip with Ethan this past weekend. We went with our friends Brittany and Brett and their two kids Skylar (3) and Jasper (6 months). We headed out Saturday morning with our pop ups, kids, strollers, pack and plays, diapers, stuffed animals, bottles, small TV and baby einstein videos (don't leave home with out them), and anything else you can imagine that you might need for one night with a baby. We went above Helen and stayed at this campground called Sleepy Hollow. We had a great time and the kids did surprisingly well.
About midnight it started raining...and it poured ALL NIGHT LONG...and the WHOLE NEXT DAY. We had fun up until this point, but having to pack up in the rain with all our stuff wet and muddy...that was no fun. Overall, we had a great time and we figured this was probably some of the worse circumstances that we could have camped in, so if we survived that...we'll do it again!

how did the 6 mo old do?? we wanted to take a family camping trip but didn't know how little guy would do on it :)
