Thank you!!!!!! With an update at the bottom.

Today we have a doctor's visit with the pediatrician to check up on Ethan's jaundice. We're praying he's all better now and we don't have to use that light bed anymore! His nose is still a little yellow. Ethan is becoming more alert though. He now has 30-60 minutes of awake time 2-3 times a day after feedings now. It's awesome to be able to see his blue eyes searching around. He has all kinds of cool facial expressions. Sometimes he even lets out a smile...of course that normally precedes a huge explosion in the diaper region. His is sleeping and feeding very well. We are still having to work with him a lot to get him to eat without falling asleep though. Hopefully that will become easier as he gets older. Time has flown by since we came home. I am supposed to go back to work this week on Wednesday. I'm not ready to go!!!! Hopefully I can squeeze another day or two out of this week. If he's still jaundice today and we have to continue to take him to the hospital daily for blood checks then I will take a few extra days for sure to help Kimberly out.

Kimberly and I also wanted to say thank you. We know that we have had many people praying for us the week Ethan was born and since. With all the issues that were occurring things could have turned out a lot differently. God definitely intervened and gave us an awesome gift and a healthy family. Thank you!!!!!!

We just got back from the pediatricians office and little Ethan is getting bigger!! He is now 7 lbs. 4 ounces! He was also given a clean bill of health! She said he was looking much better color wise and that the billirubin numbers from last week were good enough that he didn't have to get stuck in the heel again today. He was very happy about that...and so were we.

I'm so impressed with your photography skills. You've posted some incredible pictures on this site. But what's really impressive is the subject of the photos. Now, that is an incredible work of art!
