Our doctor visit turned out well today. After seeing the ultrasound we were reassured that our little one is growing strong and healthy. It looks like he may have that Hartzog head, it measured a little large. All of Kimberly's tests came back great, so mama is healthy too. Her blood pressure did spike again and they considered readmitting her into the hospital like last time. But the doc decided that bed rest was working fine and the pressure was probably just up due to the trip up to the office. So we came back home and returned Kimberly to her throne...the couch. We return Monday for a regularly scheduled check up. The doc mentioned today that at that check up we will probably be discussing some inducing options. I don't think they're going to let her go past 38 weeks. This Sunday she'll be 36 weeks.

Below is a picture I captured from our ultrasound today. One thing we discovered about ultrasounds this late in the ball game is that the baby is so large it's difficult to make heads from tails, literally. So for those of us who look at the picture and see a butterfly landing on a tulip, I labeled the parts. The eyes and nose are labeled, but the dark, circular spot below the nose is not his mouth. Though it looks like he's shouting at the top of his lungs, it just a shadow on the image. We hope you can see a glimpse of our little buddy.

I'm so glad that your tests all came out great. shew! Jeremy, my mom is sitting here beside me looking at ya'lls pics of the nursery, and she wanted me to ask you what color of paint you used on the furniture in Ethan's room? She really wants to know this. You can email me back or put a comment on our blog. Oh, she specifically said, "Brand and color."
